Route 66 State Park

A small section of Route 66, the fabled "Mother Road" is preserved within park boundaries. Exhibits on the history of Route 66, and Times Beach, the community that once existed here, as well as a Route 66 themed gift shop can be found in the visitor center. The park also offers 419

Sheltered within the wooded acres of the Wild Canid Survival and Research Center, endangered wolves are born and reared each year for reintroduction in the wild. Founded by Marlin Perkins in 1971
